Marco Quadri is a comic book artist and illustrator from Bologna, Italy. After studying traditional printmaking techniques, he received an MA in book design and illustration between Urbino (IT) and Barcelona (ES). That's where his curiosity for independent publishing and alternative comics came from.

From tiny zines to full-size books, his work revolves around strange, fantastic, and sci-fi imagery, where landscapes, architecture, and creatures interact to create eerie and playful storytelling. His works have been published in various anthologies such as kuš!, Baobab, sigaretten, Le Monde, Magma Bruta, and many more. In 2020 he founded 'enter press' a publishing house and riso studio along with 'TITIVIL' a gallery exhibition space and collective in Bologna, Italy where many more artists coexist and work together.

On Pizza:

I don't really have a favourite pizza; I think neapolitan margherita is definitely the most simple and best there is ( I know! boring! aha). Here in Italy we are pretty obsessed with pizza. When I used to work in an Italian pizzeria, called Isola Di Capri, in Phillip Island (AU) me and my friend would always get a free pizza at the end of the shift and go eat it at the pier right next to the restaurant. From the first day we found out that we would get surrounded by seagulls who wanted to eat our pizza, so we would throw crusts at them and the seagulls would catch them in the air.
